As you may or may not know, Spotify monthly playlists are my thing.
Since they’re such a massive part of my month and creating them is one of my favourite things, I decided to dedicate this post to a review of my May playlist, and an overview of my June one. So, without further ado, here is my brief review of my May ’17 playlist on Spotify, and an overview of June ’17.
May ’17 Review:
Favourite Songs: Good Girls by LANY, In Cold Blood by Alt-J, Perfect After All by Sarah Close, Want You Back by HAIM, call the police by LCD Soundsystem, Clartin by J HUS, Friendly by J HUS.
Songs I’d Skip: Sweet Creature by Harry Styles, Hard Times by Paramore, Sign of the Times by Harry Styles (disclaimer: did like this song, but just got bored of it).
Overall Rating: 7/10 – I didn’t listen to it everyday, but when I did I really enjoyed it.
June ’17 Overview:
New Music I Haven’t Heard: RELAXER by Alt-J (album), Hopeless Fountain Kingdom by Halsey (album), Sleepover by Hayley Kiyoko, 13 by LANY.
Songs I Have Heard and Love: In The Name of Man by Plan B, Clartin by J HUS, Bouff Daddy by J HUS, Fisherman by J HUS, Good Luck Charle by J HUS, HUMBLE. by Kendrick Lamar, Coachella – Woodstock in My Mind by Lana Del Rey.
Anyway, hope you enjoyed this post, and please leave any feedback in the comments on whether this sort of post is what you like. I’ll leave my Spotify June playlist link below as well for anyone wanting to listen – quick warning, it’s quite a mix of songs!
Always, Drew xxx
